![]() “Doom” addresses more than just the hero side of each character, by adding a more human spin to the dynamic of each of them. It also introduces casual fans to some lessor known DC characters, and gives a brief origin of one of DC’s villains, Vandal Savage. such as The Royal Flush Gang, Cyborg, Mirror Master, Bane, Star Sapphire, Cheetah, Vandal Savage, and Metallo. It also features many of the supporting characters from each member of the JLA’s universe. The film shows the contingency plan devised by his paranoid psychosis, and in doing so explores a never before seen side of Batman, as well as the other members of the JLA. It intertwines them with its own story to breathe life into a great animated experience, whilst still paying homage to the old Super Friends cartoons of the 1970’s.īatman’s psychosis is at the core of the movie, it is the driving force for the story. ![]() Justice League: Doom filters in many concepts that have been addressed in other comic book stories, such as The Watchmen, JLA: Tower of Babel, and The Omac Project. The story is about the use and abuse of power, it questions the nature of power and who holds domain of the appropriation of it. evil or good overcomes evil that is often presented in these movies. ![]() Justice League: Doom has an adult themed, the story depicted is far greater than just the usual good vs. ![]() This animated feature from DC Comics uses the 1970’s version of the Justice League (known as the Superfriends) as a basis for a new entertaining tale, and features an all star voice cast, many of whom have appeared in other DC animated movies such as Nathan Fillion, Tim Daly, Kevin Conroy, Phil Morris, Susan Eisenburg, Michael Rosenbuam, and Carl Lumbly. Justice League: Doom is a dynamic, invigorating adventure that strikes the heroic members of the Justice League of America (JLA) at their core and challenges each of their resolve. ![]()
